In a sport that is under-coached in the United States, Scott Cole Coaching helps atheltes reach their goals, large and small, and attain their full potential through structured training based on the latest in science and physiology.

 

 All training plans are designed specifically for each individual athlete; no pre-packaged plans here!  Each client's athletic background, goals, current skills, and most importantly - daily schedule - are analyzed to craft the best possible training plan.  The most effective training is one that can be followed and completed by athletes living under real-world constraints.  As such, fitting training into an athlete's life is paramount to any training plan.  Scott Cole Coaching acknowledges that atheltes have lives and responsibilites outside of their training schedules and works to make training both feasible and pleasurable.

           Fondo Fit Coaching

 

Designed for the athlete looking to improve their fitness and ability to participate in cycling events such as Gran Fondos and Charity Rides, this coaching package focuses on endurance improvement and overall fitness.

 

Fondo Fit coaching includes:

  • Basic TrainingPeaks account

  • Monthly training plan delivered through Training Peaks and email

  • Training with Heart Rate, Power, Perceived Exertion

  • Nutritional advice

  • Contact with coach as needed

  • Monthly review of training plan as athlete develops

 

Cost: $195 per month  Team Rates Available

           Race Fit Coaching

 

Designed for the committed bicycle racer of any level, this coaching package is targeted towards those looking specifically to compete and improve in competitive events.

 

 

Race Fit coaching includes:

  • Premium TrainingPeaks account

  • Daily Training delivered through Training Peaks and email

  • Training with Power, Heart Rate, Perceived Exertion

  • Weekly analysis of training data

  • Nutritional advice

  • Unlimited contact with coach through phone/email/text

  • Continuous review of training plan as athlete develops

  • Monthly consultations by phone/in-person

  • Race review and analysis

  • Tailored weight lifting program

 

Cost: $325 per month  Team Rates Available

           Pro Fit Coaching

 

Designed for the cyclist who who desires close contact with their coach, this package gives the most intensive level of work directly with the coach, geared towards competitive or non-compettive events.

 

Pro Fit coaching includes:

  • Premium TrainingPeaks account

  • Daily Training delivered through Training Peaks and email

  • Training with Power, Heart Rate, Perceived Exertion

  • Daily analysis of training data

  • Nutritional advice

  • Unlimited contact with coach through phone/email/text

  • Continuous review of training plan as athlete develops

  • Daily/weekly consultations by phone

  • Weekly consultations/rides in person (local)

  • Race review and analysis

  • Tailored weight lifting program

 

Cost: $525 per month  

          Coached Training Rides/Consultations

 

One-on-One Training Rides:

Coached training rides are a great way to gain an objective opinion on a workout performance, to have an experienced cyclist analyze your riding form and style, or just to have a skilled riding partner.  Goals for the ride will vary depending on the athlete, although they usually include hard interval training as well as on-the-bike handling skills practice.

Consultations:

Looking for a second set of eyes to review your annual training plan or to ask more in-depth questions of an experienced coach? One-on-one consultations are the perfect environment to ask all your burning questions and make sure you're on the right track towards your cycling goals.

 

Cost: $90 per hour in 30min increments.  $20/hr for travel (distance over 15mi from Arlington, MA) (group ride and clinic rates available)
